Long time, no blog

As the famous comedian and actor Robin Williams once said..."Oh you wicked wicked monkey!" We've been horrible horrible bloggers eh? It seems we can't keep anything up to date even with two of us! For that we apologize profusely, although I speak for only myself, and want any readers to know it's never intentional to keep you all in what we can only assume is edge-of-the-chair suspense. Therefore, I ask you to once again continue reading until you finish the bottom where you get to comment and tell us how ridiculous this attempt was, comprende? Awesome.

Now, where do I begin? I suppose you all want to know what the futterwacken we've been doing all this time. Or perhaps never cared and only scrolled to see if what we were wearing was anything acceptable to buy with your hard earned cash. Either way, I'll choose to answer option one and take it from there. Abi has been so busy dealing with her RL (you know, that thing that calls for food, sleep, and bathroom breaks?) and with replacing the house due to some crazy texture screw up, which hasn't allowed her much time to blog. As for myself? I've made some big changes and still in the process of changing both in RL and SL. Being unemployed after college for more than 2 months has proven to be too much for some adults in my life, creating a tension surrounded by the question "when" and has evolved into a sore subject for me. Before I go ranting (next time when I'm not so exhausted, yes?), I will say that before september I plan to get a job. Somewhere....anywhere I guess. But that actually means I have to apply to something then. So while I'm doing that and trying to drag myself from the beautiful virtual world we love so much, go live it up for me there in that perpetual paradise.

I planned on writing more but my mind has decomposed at such an absurd rate that this sentence may not even make sense by the time I add punctuation. *peeks* Am I right?

A Fresh Start

I officially welcome you to the start of the White Trash Debutantes blog ball. Since I first started fiddling with a computer, I instantly knew I'd want to be a blogger, someone who could share ideas, pictures, memories, and joy with those who felt compelled to read. After keeping a hobby blog based around my animals, I decided that what I wanted most was to start a blog about me, my friends, and my secondlife. This week I hope to introduce another author, if she chooses to take on the role of co-psycho, and along with that, begin a journey with our readers that will most certainly be filled with craziness, sadness, joy, humility, and passion. We love who we are, what we do, and would be honored to share it with you.

The first few posts will be dedicated to learning more about the people behind the blog and with that, I introduce you to yours truly, Duchess. I have been playing Secondlife for almost 5 years and with that amount of play time I've spent thousands of dollars, had my handful of SL lovers, dealt with dramallamas, roleplayed almost everything imaginable (if even for a day), and seen pretty much everything. Very few things surprise me but these days I find myself wanting more. I'm at the tender age of 22 and a college student finishing up her degree in English literature. Before you ask, I can certainly answer-- no, I do not plan on teaching. Life will soon change and with the end of homework will be the arrival of reality. I only hope I can entertain you enough to keep you coming back for more.

Along with that I thought I'd post not only a mugshot but an outfit shot, one that I am crazy in love with. That's right, we'll be providing the typical fashionista type blog posts, with information included on how you can be a copy of me.... or at least, feed your shopping habit.
